Many of the actors would be needed to film Time’s Convert and after COVID-19 disrupted filming schedules actors are stuck having to choose between finishing one series and starting another. Sundance Now, Shudder and AMC Plus have set A Discovery of Witches season 3 release date in the U.S.
All three seasons of A Discovery of Witches are available to stream on AMC, Shudder, and Amazon Prime Video. The challenge in moving ADOW past three seasons is securing the cast for another year. Season 3 of A Discovery of Witches has come to its dramatic end.
At the moment, the plan seems to be for the All Souls Trilogy to reach its conclusion and then perhaps the announcement for the series’ future will come. Things get creepy for historian and closet witch, Diana Bishop, when she calls up a magical manuscript. Given ADOW’s popularity both in the UK and in the US, it seems like Time’s Convert would be made into a series, too, and it very well could be. Though ADOW is based on three books, there is now a fourth book, Time’s Convert, in the series and Harkness is working on a fifth book. The trilogy was optioned by Sky TV in the UK and produced by Bad Wolf, and it airs on the AMC family of networks in the US.
